Once
logged into Password Keeper you will see how intuitive it is to use. Organized
in a fashion that allows your eye to find just what it is looking for at a
glance.
On the left side of the screen you will find your list of password record descriptions. These are organize alphabetically, and can be navigated using the keyboard, the mouse or by clicking on one of the letters below to take you to the first item beginning with that letter. Simple!
On the right side of the screen you will see the details of the password
information you selected on the left. Here you will find all the important
information you saved about this password, web site, program, or even personal
information. You will quickly notice that the most common information you
will be looking for is at the bottom of the list, the username/password pair you
are looking for.
If you are using Password Keeper Pro, then you have up to 9 custom categories to
help you organize and group your password information. The categories you
created are on the on the bottom left. Once created you can select any
of your custom categories and the list will reflect only those password records
that match your category.
On the bottom right you have all the necessary commands to create a new password record, as well as copy, modify, and delete an existing password record. All commands are easy to find and intuitive in their use.
If someone tried to view
your information using a program other than Password Keeper, your information
will be safely kept from their prying eyes. Password Keeper uses state of
the art encryption techniques to uniquely scramble your data prior to storing in
on your system. Here is a picture of a real Password Keeper data
file. As you can see, there is nothing to be learned from looking at this
file, the data is safe yet available to you at anytime.
